I must stop being judgemental.
I know i can't seem to stop sometimes; yet i realise how much it hurts when someone judges me. People telling you things you can't do... Not putting their utmost faith in you, thinking that you'll only cause trouble and more misery. Never stopping to think or ponder, was that why everyone was born into this world, only to be judged and criticised? No action done ever worth any praise, or even a simple thank you? Why does everyone seem to think that only if you have had some great achievement, then it merits great praise... Does that mean the more credits to your name, the better a person you are?
Learn to live life more.
Relax, do whatever I want~... IMPOSSIBLE. Everything I do is being rigidly controlled by the system, the huge system of things that govern every single aspect of our lives. Why do we eat? Cos we need to live, grow up healthily, contribute to the economy. No one ever tells you nowadays that you live to enjoy. You live cos you are needed, a citizen, a member of the taskforce-to be, a tax-giver; all for the sake of money. Perhaps, the only place that we can live the way we wanna be is in our dreams. Pretty deluded, you may say, but at least in my dreams, i can really dream.
Confidence in one's self.
In preperation for upcoming ups and downs in one's life, we are always told to possess the neccessary mental strength and determination to overcome them. Yet, is it even possible to build it up these days? Hardly a day go by where someone tells you that you are worthless, unable to do something. When someone shatters your dreams, confidence, pride into a hundred million pieces, are you really able to pick up all the pieces again and go on with life, without a dent in your smile? Perhaps, it would even be better to abandon all futile attempts of restoring one's pride. Less effort, really. After all, picking up a hundred million pieces ain't easy at all, uh huh.
Success or failure?
Why must we deem ourselves to be a success or failure based on other's opinions? Is it because they are more experienced, cleverer, or a higher achiever than you are? No one nowadays is given the right to be a self-proclaimed genius. Rather, you would be labelled as a deluded, over-confident jerk. Late blooming genius? They would much rather believe in the phrase that the sun would rise from the west. So, whatever path we choose to go on in our life, is basically what others have chosen for us, to become a so called "success". For example, becoming a doctor, the glamorous job or success. Yet, if we are not truly happy, would our life be a success? Would we leave this world full of regrets, knowing that you did not choose your path of happiness? Perhaps then, at the last stage of life, we label ourselves a failure. Then would it not be ironic??
I'll continue with several more themes, but I'll leave you all on this note;
We are who we think we are, we will be if we persist in what we wanna be.
