Thank you for your interest in the HOMECOMING Run to help set a record for the ‘Longest Distance done on a 400m Track in 8 Hours’. The Guinness World of Records (GWR™) body has turned down our claim to set the above-mentioned record but have suggested that the school attempt to break an existing record – ‘Most people running 100 metres in a 24 hour relay’.

The school has decided that in the spirit of making our 75th Anniversary a memorable one, we will attempt to get into both the Guinness World Records™ and the Singapore Book of Records™– Record Breakers Singapore .

1. ‘Most people running 100 metres in a 24 hour relay’ - We will attempt to break the current record of 801 participants set by Stanney High School Sports College, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, UK on 25 April 2005. The 24 hour run will begin on 28 March, 5.00pm to 29 March, 5.00pm .
2. ‘Longest Distance done on a 400m Track in 8 Hours’ – We will concurrently set a commemorative record as part of the school’s 75 th Anniversary celebrations on 29 March, 8.00am – 5.00pm

We invite you to be a part of this record breaking feat! 75 years is a milestone in our St Nicholas history so, let us come together in the spirit of 饮水思源 to help SNGS create history. We need your support!
